| True 3-D Video Display System |
True real-time 3-D simulations /images can now be seen
with the naked eye. POC’s unique autostereoscopic video
digital display, display system requires no goggles or special
glasses to view 3-D images. Proprietary HDS™ Holographic
Digital Display Screen combines 2-D projected images into
3-D viewing zones by combining left (L) and right(R) stereo
images. POC’s 3-D systems will accept 3-D recorded
images, video, games or graphics and will display them for
3-D viewing. The special POC software interface is compatible
with standard 3-D graphic and design software, and enables
the storage and retrieval of 3-D images.

| POC 3-D Systems |
POC’s unique 3-D systems consists of a special 3-D
interfacing software, three CPU’s, two (2-D) LCD projectors
– PL (left) and PR (right), turning mirrors, and special
HDS™ Holographic Display Screen.

| Software Interface |
A three CPU “Chromium Cluster” computer network
is used for image processing and fast response time. Each
CPU contains a 1.6GHz Pentium 4 processor with 512 MB of DDR
(double data rate) ram memory. A high performance (G-Force
4 titanium 4200) graphics processor is used, and each CPU
is connected with a 100Mbps Ethernet link.
The special interfacing software processes 3-D recorded video,
graphics and images, and directs them to the left (PL) and
right (PR) LCD projectors.
POC’s software interface is compatible with Windows
PC based 3-D software such as OGL (Open Graphic Language),
Direct X, 3D Max, and MAYA.OBJ. The software will work with
operating engines such as LINUX and Quake III.
On a custom OEM basis, the software interface can be adapted
for additional software compatibility. |

| View 3-D With The Naked Eye |
The heart of POC’s 3-D display is the HDS™
Holographic Display Screen, which combines the images from
two (2-D) LCD projectors (PL & PR) into a 3-D viewing
zone. POC currently produces HDS™ screens up to 35”
x 35”.

 |
| Viewing Zones |
Using holographic techniques, one, two or more viewing
zones can be recorded into the HDS™ Screen. The standard
viewing zone is 24” vertical by 2-3” horizontal
(same view by multiple viewers). A “look around”
effect can be achieved with additional projectors.
The HDS™ Screen recording and play back techniques
help reduce “eye fatigue” when directly viewed. |

 |
 |
- True 3-D viewing with the naked eye, no goggles or special
glasses are required.
- Real-Time high resolution viewing.
- Multi-Zone Views – one 24”x3” viewing zone
is standard, up to 6 viewing zones (same view) can be recorded.
- “Look Around” views can be achieved with additional
LCD projectors.
- HDS™ Holographic Display Screens can be manufactured up
to 35”x35”.
|
- High Brightness – full color displays.
- Two LCD Projectors are included.
- 3D images are created using 2-D projectors
- POC software interface is compatible with PC based windows 3-D
software - OGL, Direct X, 3DMAX, MAYA.OBJ.
- Chromium Cluster contains three CPUs networked with a 100 Mbps
Ethernet link. “Each” CPU contains a 1.6 GHz Pentium
4 processor, 512 MB of DDR ram memory.
