POC has developed a new wearable “smart” electrical Snapnet™ connector, and associated connector system in the form of WEARNET™. For the first time a single Snapnet™connector integrates electronics into military vests and protective clothing. The WEARNET™personal area network is body -conformable with a single wearable connector and system interconnects. Also developed is a Multi -Operational Snap -Fastener Fabric integrating the wearable smart connector. Connecter types include USB (LAN), VGA, RF will be integrated into a chest wearable belt. Each connector will be approximately 0.58” diameter and will contain an eight (8) pin configuration for health monitoring GPS, camera (VGA), communication, data acquisition, RF and personal PDA.
