LSD® Light Shaping Diffusers are holographically recorded,
randomized surface relief stuctures that enable High Transmission
Efficiency (up to 92%), and Controlled Angular
Distribution, while providing high quality Homogenized
Light. These fully randomized (non-periodic) structures
are non-wavelength dependent and will eliminate moiré, without
chromatic aberration. The precise surface relief structures provide
controlled angular light divergence, emulating a negative lens.
Standard and custom OEM products are available, including a variety
of angles, sizes, shapes, cut-to-print parts, and substrate materials
including 2-sided diffusers (PCS), variable angles, color tints,
and low birefringent substrates.
