POC recently completed an Optical Proximity Sensor and will be demonstrating this technology at the Navy Opportunity Forum on June 5th & 6th, at the Washington DC Hilton & Towers. OPS™ has been developed for small caliber non-lethal munitions, and can also be used for proximity detection for unmanned vehicles. The light weight package has a response time of less than 0.1 milliseconds (0.0001 Seconds) at a range between 1 and 5 meters from the target. In house demonstrations are available, and initial prototypes are available for purchase. OPS™ can be adapted to meet OEM requirements.
